	Forum Style Suffering from ads?

Why do all the styles suck so much?

Civ3 is puke green.
CTP is gay pink. Or some pink/brown abomination.
MoO3 is nice, but I don't like to read letters lighter than the background on my computer screen. Although, I post on CG, but the contrast is better.
SMAC: I only celebrate Halloween once a year.

Default is good, but the pastel blue is too light. Just a little darker, and make the links a little darker as well and it would be perfect.

I think I just use the standard one. Can't be bothered with the whole personalisation thing.

The standard one happens to be the (most) decent. I must say these lighter link colours are rather annoying though. Light on light is never a good design decision.

I wonder if the gods will be issuing an explanation?

I really like the MoO3 styleset. Nice and cool and subdued. Bright white displays make my eyes water and sting when I'm just waking up.

I, too, have been using the MoO3 style for a few months now ... it's *much* easier on the eyes, IMO.

But each style uses a different .css file?

On that basis, if file A gets 100 requests and file B gets 1 request, the requester of file B will get their request fulfilled sooner than those requesting file A.

MoO3 is fine by me.

If folk here hate all the choices, why not use your browser to pick a color scheme and set it to "use my colors" for all websites?? If you want hot pink on light blue, or whatever, you can have it.

I'm an adept of the default style, but I have to say that this lighter blue they're using for links is horrible. Dark blue was soooo much better.

But it could be a cunning plan from the admins to "convince" more people to use the other styles...
