Yep, little bit OT.
But shortly coming back to this OT-topic:
I never liked to have 5 lists to update my queues.
The normal build queue is quit OK, when you have only a few cities, but after a few more cities, when you wonder: Did I already build building XXXX in city YYYY, which is a bit painful to check.........
The AI build priorities: don't know.

But you CAN make a full build queue of anything, whether you researched it on not. Ive attached a queue with all the buildings. Put it in your ...\ctp2_program\ctp\save\queues then ''load'' from build manager for any empty queues.
I also found a bug with the create custom queue thing, that when you save a queue with the same name as one already there the game freezes. Needs an overwrite option or whatever.

I agree with that SMIFFGIG.
I mean in an unmodded game i dont get to make a city specialized in production until i have Industrial Revolution, which is a long way away.
quote: It'd be better to keep the existing system, but have a drop down list to specialize slightly... which change the percentage of resources that are gained for each category (I.E. Balanced = 100/100/100, Food = 110/90/90, Prod = 90/110/90, Comm = 90/90/110) |
Something like this might work.

Then build a city closer to the gold next time. If the Gold is 3 rings away from your city (and it would be at size 30) then it would be inefficient to travel so far to collect gold for that city straight away.

Yes Maq - thats exactly what i do. Its a strategic choice of sorts, cause i may be sacrificing better growth. Still until we have real strategic resources it wont be as serious a choice as i'd like it to be.
