Yes, I have been absent. Again, my apologies. I haven't lost any interest, in fact, it gets more interesting as the game develops. Anyway, thanks guys for remaining patient with me.
BTW, What's a "blunderbuss"? and do American colloquial sayings create the same confusion to to Brits and Aussies?
Recently I was watching "Whose Line is it Anyway" (The real one with Clive Anderson) and one of the "regulars" is this British (Scottish?) dude who gets talking so fast, and is hilarously funny although I'll admit to not understanding a large portion of what he's saying. It hardly seems like he's speaking English!
Anyway, a long post to suggest that Brits and Aussies can understand American lingo/language better than Americans can understand British/Aussie lingo/language. Any thoughts?
