We're 3rd in GNP

LL have built another city quite close so we should have culture touching when mywife culture expands.

Hansblixville really is a cool city now, +7 food and a granary is damn fine. It needs to work the 2 forests and the irrigated plain for 5 sheilds this turn and then switch to working 2 irrigated flood plains next turn in order for it to give workers every 3 turns.
2 turn workers will be possible once the hill is mined.

Also for MM purposes it is neccesary to rush buy the settler in the capital for 20 g. As the city needs to be timed right so it disbands 3 turns after the FP is built.

We have to give SS 80g for Engineering too.

We can also use hansblixville to pump up pop in other areas, I used that trick in the PBEM like you thaught me

Yeah once we get some land developed and happyness sorted we can get some large cities quite quickly. I take it you're still leading the world in that game.

Igrends will also be able to do the same, in fact I think that city should be able to build a worker every 2 turns quite soon.
Although what's really good about HAns and Igrends is that eventually (at size 6) they'll be able to build workers using only floodplains, plains tile and desert meaning we'll be able to get really good use out of the lousy desert area.

It may also be a good idea to build a couple of settlers in Hans first, once the FP is built there will be core city spots unsettled and those cities to the south of the FP will be the real powerhouses of the empire with cities with 18+ sheilds per turn and one site with a possible 24 spt.
Templemount and Kofiannan will also be really strong too.

I think we may not have had to give SS 80g afterall, if we agree to the deal where we research invention.
