what is this i hear about banning and percentage. example- 1 week and 10%, ming can you explain.

Thinking about it.....
the only reason we get threads like this is because Ming and co. are too damned soft.
No three strikes and you are out just "piss me off and I bar you IP".
I think that would shut the complainers pretty shortly, wouldn't you?

And this is before whe get to the situation in a country like Britain, where there are literally hundreds of totally free ISPs that can be up and running in a few days.

If you banned all the IP's then no one would post. The people who post the junk threads are the people who post the most and keep the forum keep 24/7. If you banned us, how many posts a day do you think you could get?

Bumps can serve a purpose, and are legal when used seldomly. Sometimes you want somebody in particular to see something or respond. However, it can get out of hand. People have been given vacations for excessive bumping. So use it when the situation calls for it... but think before you bump 
And embalmer42... If he had created one more stupid thread, he would have earned that vacation. But, he was smart, and started a threadasking a legitimate question... Now remember, I don't like giving out vacations. It is a last resort. I had made my point...

I'm glad that bumps (within reason) are allowed. Sometimes, you just need to bring something to someone's attention, and writing "bump" is easier than coming up with some reason to post...
In other words... What you say is logical  .
