"He grew tired of waiting in Spain "doing nothing, and rebelled on his own to plunder the lands of Auvernge. But I knew that, given his arrogance, should he be defeated in battle he'd just give up rather than be able to run away. With the cooperation of the French, I knew we could hit him where it hurt."
President SnowFire of France seemed similarly happy. "Well, Spanish internal affairs aren't really our business, but Estupido really should have renewed his visa before visiting here. We like tourists and all, but we had to suspend his travelling priveleges last time he came and almost took Bourdeax. Gen. Huangdi handled the military side of this, so we're always happy to help out. I hear he's come up with some awesome new stealth technology for his armies, too."
Franco-Spanish borders have been restored to normal now. In other world news, Russia is still controlled by evil commies bent on world domination, but according to all reputable prophets, their end is near and they shall die choking on their own tanks.

I thought the part on Russia was very interesting. Maybe the Europeans are more impartial than the US after all.
