Awhile ago I decided to reinstall my old favorite MOO2, but I decided first to look around and figure out what's been going on with the game since I last played it. As far as I can tell, no one has ever managed to modify the core game files, but I did find something unusual. I did a google search and uncovered a site that said it once had something called Moo2 v.132 (as opposed to v1.31), and called it a fan patch.
Does this patch actually exist? The website I was looking at hadn't bene updated for years, and it said they were no longer hosting the patch due to heavy demand. I'm wondering if anyone here has ever heard of this patch, and, if it does exist, where I could find it and what it does.

Yeah thanks somehow I missed that section of the website.... however, according to the website it is no longer availible on the site, and I'd either have to find someone who has it or buy a CD with it on it.... So, I suppose the best solution would be to ask again whether or not anyone who reads this has the patch?

We also have 1.40 patch for moo2. It does :
1. removes bugs,
2. add switches like : no wh, minimum start, no bh, no orion etc.
Try 246 on kali. Good luck !

Q2) "Please Load VESA.COM"
A2) i. Make sure you have the very latest drivers for your graphics card.
ii. Make sure you have a recent version of DirectX, 7 or more should be OK.
iii. Make sure you have a the DOS VESA drivers for your card, these days VESA drivers are not automatically supplied/installed with todays modern graphics cards.
iv. If it still does not work get SciTechs Display Doctor. It comes with a free trail period, during which time you can contact your Graphics card Manufacturer. Or Buy the Display Doctor Software, it's quite good and not too expensive at about 20 USD.
v. Finally some bright spark wrote this : vesawrap.zip. It says it fixes the "Please Load VESA.COM" error for Orion2.exe ... however I have not tried it , since I am lucky enough not to have this problem.

Hey y'all. I wonder if you're recomending installing the 1.40 Moo2 Patch if you plan on playing only with the Host Seat Multiplayer Variant.
Me and my friend play MOO2 occasionally, Always in the Host Seat pattern. We're currentlly playing with the regular 1.31 Patch, And considering applying the 1.32D Fan Patch. I now saw you say there's a 1.40 Fan Patch, Do you think it'll we be good for us in Host Seat? If so, Any chance you can point me to a website (Or Maybe Mirc DCC) Where I can D/L it? I don't seam to understand where is the Kali Chat channel you're talking about...
