	Is there anyway to add more country flags? Got spare money?

There's already flags for such non-state geo-political entities as Palestine, Antarctica, the UN and aboriginal Australia. Is it possible to add a couple more?

Specifically, I was thinking Hawaii and Quebec, but I'm sure there's other national flags that users may feel represent them better that the ones on offer (Texas comes to mind).

So... is it possible? Thanks.

The non-country ones were provided as part of the whole country package. Your chances of having more ones added are slim to none, but if you really did want it done there is work that you need to do.

Flag-icon-sized images of all proposed additions should be attached in this thread for any realistic chance of the Godz adding them.

That said, I agree with Ras.

While I sort of agree with Rasputin, the internationally recogized flags such as the UN and EU should be retained.

If I type out the owner's answer they can just quote my post, saving them time.

Probably not, and definitely not if we have to hunt for flags.

This has been addressed several times, with several prompt responses from Dan. No new flags for now. I have tried to put forward several well arguemented cases, but they all failed too, as the owner's don't want more flags. I think this case is pretty much closed.

And I think the case is closed as well... but it's been a while since the last thread on this topic... so I will leave it open and give the owners a chance to respond if they so wish.

Actually if you really 'need' the flag, you could use the avatar for it. Only works with custom avatar, for which you need to have posted at least 500 posts.

But if you really need it, that would work as well.

I would be more than willing to hunt down and resize all the flags people want, then post them here... I just didn't want to get too far ahead of myself.

If the owners approve, I'll put together a list of flags to add (with any suggestions from other posters) and stick them here.

I did try do a search for "flags" btw, but I guess I picked the wrong time to do a search.

It won't be done simply because then everyone will want another non nation flag added. "But X poster got a custom flag added, why can't I have mine?" ad naseum.

I really think there is no need for antartica... If the scientists there were to access apolyton... I would be worried I sincerely doubt that anyone would claim residence/place of work/nationality as antartican
