I cant imagine why it would look different in unix and netscape 4.7 and windows and netscape 4.7 ...

Works in linux with netscape 4.72, which is also a kind of unix.

I think it has to do with the fonts. try using smaller fonts
|

but basically, there's a 3-line box at the top of the post that comes from the different color. it looks kinda like what I drew, but as big as the post is obviously.
