we should not ake any war with Persia at least
and I'm not sure we should go to fight Egypt because we have cities which can be captured by their knights.

On the other side Egypt should be busy with the war with everyone else at this time and we can use the moment to take their cities on the southern island...

Maybe we will need some investigation?

I think we should keep neutral BUT
just one idea
After 3 turns we complete researching Feudalism. We aquire 27 gpt. We have only 180 gold in the treasure. How do you think we will get Invention? How will we get the gold for upgrading our archers to berserks?

If we make a mutual protection pact with Egypt we risk losing all our cities west to persians. But all we can see there are immortals. maybe we could hold them down. If we suceed in this we will have enough techs from the war, enough gold for upgrading and for trading other techs. Also, with the armies we will be able to go to war with Persia and take something from them.
I know this is too optimistic. I know that everyone else is at war withEgypt and this means it is likely if we join Egypt we will be at war with the world but is this not a chance for us to go forward?
