Scene 17 : The 13th Day

The voting in the village was again close, with Mart7x5 getting one vote more than Ghengis Farb, the painter. Kassiopiea could have voted in an effort to save Mart, but he decided to abstain, meaning that he doomed Mart to a gruesome death.

The villagers took Mart down to the woodworking shop and strapped him to a table, flat on his back. The big circular saw was placed between his legs and moved slowly upwards, and at the same time his head was placed in a vice that was slowly tightened.

"I feel like James Bond," commented Mart "Do you expect me to talk?"
"No Mr Bond, we expect you to die," choursed the villagers, as Mart's head was crushed and the saw blades got to work on his genitals.
"Aaaaaaagh" said Mart, and promptly died in agony.

The villagers went back to Skanky's bar to clean up.

Scene 18 : The 13th Night

The villagers decided to spend the night in thier own beds that night. Sleeping at Skanky's bar had offered no protection the night before. After a couple of beers and whiskeys they staggered home and fell asleep.

* * * * *

Theben woke up gasping. It was still dark. He reached for the light beside his bed, but something was stopping him moving... he couldn't breath properly. There was a blinding blow to his head, and the bedsheets were suddenly so wet... he felt sick... darkness...

* * * * *

When the villagers met together in the morning they immediatley missed the cheerful presence of the town's butcher.

"Come on," said ADG "Let's look for him"

The villagers entered Theben's house and climbed the stairs to his bedroom. The carnage was appaling.

Theben lay flat on the bed, which was covered in blood and semi-digested food. His head was severly beaten with a brutality never before seen, in fact the stake tenderiser was left protuding from his skull. He appeared to also have been strangled with a fine rope or wire, before the killer gutted him, presumably with the large butcher's knife still embedded in the hideous gash.

The stench of his stomach contents combined with the visual appearence of his corpse was simply too much. The villagers hurried outside into the fresh air without looking too closely (i.e. no more clues for you lot]

It is now day, and the villagers may vote

I was the first person to post an Authentic clue.
I was the one to expose the fact that there were people planting fake clues.
None of the clues have pointed to me.
