	MODS: Why don't we have a Colonization forum? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Well???

I know i've written mod packs for it. And, probably, so have many other people.

Plus it's a part of the civ series. So it CAN be at Apolyton.

Why not? It`s not a stupid an idea as it might at first sound. I still play Colonization on a regular basis, and I expect that there are quite a few others who do so. WarVoid is proof that at least one other person does.

I`m sure that WarVoid would be quite happy to moderate such a forum if one existed. I`m not expecting such a forum to come into existence on this site (not soon at least). But Dan and Mark, at least give it a bit of thought. Of course, if there aren`t many positive replies to this thread, then I won`t expect you to include one anytime soon.

Hell, i'll moderate both a civ1 and colonization forum.
Cause i'm THE man.

Anyways. I did a lot of mod packs for colonization that I would like to post somewhere. But WHERE is the question???

My flatmate and girlfriend have just started playing it recently. I don't know that it needs it's own forum though. There's a place on this site for old games - why couldn't there be a forum for old games - encompassing Civ 1 and Colonization? It might get a few more posts that way. Having said that, I probably wouldn't post in it very often...

I dont think there is a need for this. There are already so many forums. Choose "Other Games/Civ comparision" forum if you want to talk about Colonization.

i agree that a civ1/colonization forum would be a great idea......

I still play both, albeit not as much as civ 2 but who cares. I think a forum would bring alot more talk about those games than the regular chat which takes place in the othergames/ choose civ forums.

example. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of civ1?

4 replies of so and so .com or send it to me by email etc etc..... instead i believe people would chat about strats in greater detail than the remember when you burned the native villages and got 14500gold. Or the best part about colonization was the privateers..... catch my drift.

Those who think its unecessary dont have to read those forums if they dont wish to , but by not having them , you keep a small but proud group of players who really have no proper place to discuss a great couple of games.
