Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Presense of CDG warrior should only delay Two Warrior Stack a single turn. Here is why:

Scenerio 1
1b) CDG moves North into the forest.
2a) Blondie, still hidden from view, fortifies. Grog, now moves South instead of Southeast (this move looks less aggressive from CDG point of view as it is NOT towards their city).
2b) CDG now moves West onto the hill where Grog is now.
3a) Blondie, still hidden from view, remains fortified. Grog now moves East to the tile where CDG's warrior is now (This is in the direction of their capital, but at this point, they don't know that we know where their city is and the move is the logical exploration pattern. This might worry them some, but as we will have had several happy smiley correspondances talking about tech trades and good relations with them, plus them having a defensive warrior in their city, they should feel reasonably comfortable with continued exploration.).
3b) CDG now moves West (or North, it matters not at this point).
4a) Blondie unfortifies and moves as planed (to the Southwest, remaining hidden). Grog moves East of his postion (He will then be in view as he would be on the corner of their border, but still be where he should be if he were to be exploring.).
4b) So long as CDG doesn't back track to the hill it won't matter where they move.
5a) Blondie moves South to the designated rally point. Grog moves Northwest to the designated rally point (To CDG, Grog will have just dissappeared. According to our communications with CDG at this point, they will believe that he went South to continue his normal exploration pattern.).
5b) Again, so long as CDG warrior does not move onto the hill, our stack will be unnoticed.
6a) Two Warrior Stack moves East to the borders of CDG's cultural border and only one tile from their capital.
6b) CDG scrambles. Their exploring warrior is WAY to far to help. They switch what ever their build is to a Warrior (for some reason, there was a delay in getting them Bronze Working).

Got spare money?

cool
but if at 2b CDG warrior moves north again he will discover our warrior, Grog will be one turn away from the target and all our communications will be treatened as lies. Bye-bye ally.
But it seems very logical, true. And there is only one if.

i am hoping that as well. that was my original thinking behind the larger line of sight plan, we'd get to see any settlerstack that comes out.

but having blondie not seen is far more important.

Nice. My biggest concern is that the ivory is about 1/2 way between our civs.

Sorry, I was gone home on a four day pass. Civ wasn't anywhere near on my list of priorities.

Yeah, we could probably take CDG out. Their strategy is fairly poor and then don't do well rexing. I'm not sure if they may have tweaked their strategy from the last game but I doubt it as they blame their loss on GameCatcher's super luck rng.

Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Hmmm, In the chat, CDG was talking about having a tight city spacing, so I figure that they will be sending their next settler to 3-3 of where our warrior is currently at (next to the cows and on the river).

Maybe we can greet their settler with our warrior.....

Actually its about 1/3 the way from us and 2/3's the way from CDG.

If we want it its ours.

I just went back and counted, assuming there capitol has cultured outward (which had to happen already) they are 10 tiles away from the Ivory.

We are 5 tiles away from Ivory.
