But fun! Their two-turn units were a significant pain to produce in the early game though.
I played them for their castle designs though.

Vxma: Warlords 2 had a random map generator.

This would appear to be the arboreal equivalent of a double entendre. Or is it just me?

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

My favorite castle design was the Sirians. Gotta love that tiered, pure-white pyramid design!

True, but the main world was defined and was used in one of the scenarios. I forget the name now. The scenario was included in III. I just can't remember if it came with a map.

Blue and boring. They had nice ships though. Dwarven castles weren't that great either, a uniform orange colour iirc but they started near Carmal, a big plus in and of itself. Orcs of Kor had ugly cities, but were quite teh fun to play. Sirians castles just didn't do it for me, being too pure and such. It struck me as hypocritical considering they were killing others and attempting to rule the world. HorseLord castles were rather generic. Then you get to the top 3 castle designs, with the evil black castles from the north, and the two wooden designs from the south, sported by the Stormgiants and the Elves.
