Are there really that many DL's?

I always thought it would be an exaggeration that half of all Apo's are DLs.

IMO, most ppl who register for these forums never visit the OT, but just come in to ask some on-topic questions, stick around till they have all the answers they need, then disappear again.

I think even 250 DLs is a very high estimate.

I say the vast majority never created any DLs. Several created one or two (just guessing here), and a handful of ppl created a whole bunch of them (like yourself, apparently)

So I'm not wrong, at least in my view

I've never created a d/l (bows head in shame).

It is great that apolyton finally has 6000 users. My guess is that the users can be broken down into these catagorys:

Mings: 3,000

Mao's: 1,000

Other people obsessed w/ d/l's: 1,500

Regular people: 500
