I'm still considering whether or not to run. Thing is, I'm going to be busy with the end of the semester during april and the beginning of may; so, I might be a little inactive during the first month of my term if elected. Considering this, I may just wait for the May election and challenge con.

However, I'll probably run, just to provide some opposition, if no one else steps up to challenge Togas.

I would actually kind of prefer that you do that because right now I may not run again.

Im going to be gone for two weeks late may.

Gone for at least a week in June and maybe gone for three total weeks in July and early august.

And I just do not think that would be fair to the team.

But if you beat Togas he could just run again in May

Which ever gets it we will have a good consul.

Not against Togas.

In any case I don't have enough time to be a consul, much less the MOI. I couldn't get out of it completely though which was why I got roped into deputy MOI duties.

Ok - so let's say it is Togas versus the Banana. On the surface, this should look like a no-brainer. But wait - don't sell Togas short. He has some very solid credentials for this job. I know our fave, Monsieur Banane, has been around for ages, and is very skilled in all aspects of running a team, as well as winning elections. After all, didn't he crush panag at one time.

But Togas, the acknowledged underdog, has so much going for him. He writes well. He creates team consensus, not conflict. He draws on the team's strengths. He is there when we need him. He has good civ3 skills.

I know Togas is young, and the Banana has been around for many millenia, but c'mon, give the kid a chance, will ya.

Vote Togas.
