Possible off-shore islands? Support Apolyton

While playing the turn I noticed that the sea off our northern tip extends a bit across the ocean, leading me to think that there might be some land not so far away (don't know why I never had noticed this). Perhaps after Astronomy we can send some ships to scout out.

It was noticed and mentioned long ago. About the same time the Ocean/Sea tile cross-up was noticed and apparently put in mistakenly by mongoose. It was mentioned that once we have Astronomy that we could investigate further, but for now, we are stuck to coastal tiles only.

Maybe I will be proven not completely wrong for insisting we cross to the North! Or maybe I will just be proven wrong DEFINITIVELY.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I have taken this under due consideration (i.e. days of contemplation of all of the different implications of land being up there) and have come up with the following:

- Land for CGN to rebuild without anyone else knowing about it.
This would still require them to have their new relocated capitol on that northern point of land, close to the passage. This would make them entirely off of the radar for them. We might also be able to work a stealth Palace move for them, if they work it right. With CGN consigned to 1 (apparent) city on our not so forgiving north, they will likely be ignored and not noticed when they move their Palace.

- Building a settler(s) for them to help them get established there. I am loth to take production away from vital GA/war preparations, but I can likely swing a settler or 2 here and there.

- Possible Goody Huts (although they will only be barb and cash huts at this time

- Possible Resources/Luxes.

- A northern Jump off point for an attack on GWT's Northern cities (after Navigation). This would be in cooperation with CGN on that thrust and CFC on a Southern GCA assult, while we also assult GWT's in old Fraxis land and GCA in old CGN lands. I'll try to post something further about this in a few days.
