Possible outcomes: Settler, tech, warrior, gold, nothing, barbs
In order to pop a settler, you must not be above the average number of cities. (You also must not be building a settler, but that's easy to take care of.) If we wait, we might get up to our third city before popping it; if so, we might not have a chance at a settler. Besides, a free settler now will have even more impact than a free settler later.
The tech we would likely get right now is Ceremonial Burial, which costs only two tech points, doesn't provide anything very desirable right now,, and is not required for techs that are desirable until it's time to go to the Middle Ages. In short, not very good. But, the only way to prevent this is to get CB from somewhere, and we have no guarantee we will anytime soon.
Gold and nothing are just as good now as they will be later.
Barbs would likely be more easily handled later, but the hut is far enough away from apolyton that I think we could handle them before they endangered the worker or worked tiles.
