I haven't been in these forums since Lux Invicta honorably surrendered.

I can't speak for the entire team, WP, but the Gathering Storm is still accepting members (Krill, for instance, just joined us recently).

Err, no. That would be Vox. I wouldn't even claim to have been a close friend and ally of Lux or anything, but we were not the cause of your demise.

We were, however, the cause of Vox's removal from their homeland (they attacked, lost, and relocated). It is now occupied by the aforementioned Roleplay team, after they and GS were defeated in the great Bobian war.

I'll start a thread in our forum (we still have to formally discuss membership, dunno how other teams do it). Personally, I'd be glad to have you, especially if you're willing to help out with some of the diplo legwork.

I was the military leader in Lux Invicta...unfortunately, fate left me with few troops and little time to actually be of any use, lol.

Guessing RP is getting the beat down???

After the GS-Vox war, GoW and ND hit RP. GS had advance warning, since GoW tried to pull us in as allies, but were unable/unwilling to offer us much for our services. RP, on the other hand, saw which way the wind was blowing and offered us the moon to help them. We did. GS + RP against GoW & ND, and eventually Lego (sort of). It was pretty ugly. GoW and ND both had 3-move knight equivalent UUs and were in their GAs. GoW also built Leonardos.

We slowed them down, hampered them, and lost a lot of troops in the process, both due to our mistakes, their smart play, and the aforementioned UUs. It wasn't to be. So GS gifted RP north Stormia (formerly Estonia, Vox's land) and withdrew in defeat.

Since then, it's been very quiet. We've hit the Industrial Age.

We're on the rock known as Voxtavia, which used to be Legos Minor. It's great for skiing and has a lot of nice beaches...at least we tell ourselves that they are beaches and not desert wastelands.

as for that "other" great warrior of old - TRIP - he has been placed a curse by the Holy Demolords: his spirit now aimlessly roams the dreadlands of GoW, while his eye has been given the power to see everything from up above.

(In other words, we felt pity for him and now he's the overseer of the demogame and official historian)
