	Average Age of Apolytoners per June 30 2000 Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

I finally got round to calculating the average age in the age faq (247 ppl), but ppl may have missed my note in there.

So let me just make a post right here, so that lots of ppl will see it, the average age of Apolytoners is at the moment:

25.75 years old

And we should probably add 0.5 year to that number, since people are an average of six months from their latest birthday. This is provided Narck added the age numbers together and calculated the average from that.

I'm happy. If you add 0.5 year to the average age and let Snapcase figure out the standard deviation.

So if we have survey "data" showing the average age to be 26ish (adding a bit), then we seem to have a good argument for more upscale banner ads! (no offence to those who enjoy and visit the UGO pinup sites ) I figure that the age is reasonably accurate as few people would lie about being damn near 40 with kids!

BTW I'm staring at an add to win electronic toys (CD player, cameras, Gameboys,...). A big improvement on the "I want you now" stuff I usually see from UGO! I think I'll click on it just to vote my support for a higher class of ad! (requisite added!)

Well, none of us are getting any younger, so the average age would be impossible to determine correctly at any given time. Therefore, we might as well go with Narck's six months-short (and counting) number.
