Well, not necessarily - some nations have higher population densities than others, after all. Anyway, I would suggest that we use the same system for that as for multiple nations - you can claim extra ones, but someone else who wants to put a new nation in one of them can claim the spot from you.

But under your suggestion, what's to stop somebody claiming every vacant nation until they are reclaimed?

Some level of reasonability, and the utter stupidity of doing so (you'd be left with either most of your territory uninhabited or else an extremely low ppulation density - neither of those would be very sensible choices).

some countries are more crowded than others .. as in real life , ceroo with so many people on thoselittle islands is probably like indonesia in the real world, whilst frankychan with so few people on a huge island is like the australians...


number of people have nothing to do with nation size,

jsut ask and whislt we have plenty of remaining numbers your wish is my command....

Erm, did a full-colour update here (this version has the numbers missing), before realising Rasputin was still 'updating' the map. Any comments?

Beautiful map! It makes a great suppliment Rasputin's... his is a good "zoomed out" map that is easy to update and easy to see/make claims, yours is a good "zoomed in" map for more detailed observations.

btw, is there any indication of the scale involved (ie, how physically big is the region)? Maybe I just missed it.

i was only using the original map started by someoone else and was considering improving it graphically anyway, but youes is great...

no need for two maps, we can just use ceroos now.

but what is this additional land to our east on the map, you making more room for expansion ???

i think the region is really about as big as our planet based on the popultions we squeezing in
