Voted more against the 'strong' factions and the 'weak' ones so as to maybe have a balanced game. So I am content enough the way the poll is going with Gaians, Morgan, Spartans in the lead. I think including the Data Angels would provide the a good RP contrast.

I think the four teams are going to end up like that Herc. A builder (Morgan) a Green (Gaians) a fighter (Spartans) and a prober (Angels) which is really the 4 corners of the game, with all factions able to do some research too.

Hell, I will as well. I'll push for almost any of them. Anything to keep my interest up.

The Spartans - there's a few great reasons I play as them more often than almost any other faction in my SP games. They start out with the ability to explore quickly, making things far more interesting very early on in the game, and they are a stronger war-oriented faction that can handle FM or Democracy. For some reason they seem to be considered a weaker faction, and what better could you ask for as a DG faction? You get to see the experts showing us their stuff, and by making the Spartans great just think of what sort of players that will make us all.

* MrWhereItsAt starts thinking of a character profile - the ice-cold Amazon b1tch who commands her crack squad, seems not to understand the words 'pity' or 'compassion', and has a barrel full of gung-ho slogans to yell in the heat of battle.

Now who wouldn't have fun with that?

The Gaians are for nature and love. What best way to explore the new planet than to embrace it and become one with it?

The Spartans are for discipline and survival. The environment is cruel. But we are tough. We will not bend our head for anything. Together we will conqure the planet!

The Morgans are for money and comfort. Yes the planet is crude and harsh. But we'll make a brand new world out of it. What an adventure to create a successful economy and free market. Afterall we deserve it, don't we?

So what direction should we go, my friends? What is the ideology that inspires you?

Actually, what if a solid group of people wishes to play a faction that was not in the top 3? It's always possible that so many people choose a 3th or 4th choice and still participate in their first choice. Then this poll shows a deformed picture.

I mean the 3-4 DG team poll was very close.

What about a Cult vs Usurpers ACDG?

I think the Spartans should be in... Especially if we changed them a little...

Into a faction named The Scorpion Legacy and their banner should be Nod-like and they should all wear long black robes and have ghastly black masks and their bases should look like the Temple of Nod and their leader should be a ghostly black clad Darth Sidious(and/or Cain)-like figure... And when they stormed into battle they should yell: DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR!!
