No offence meant to you, of course. I was just trying to influence his posting behaviour so that anything beyond, say, a few words, would have the [strike] [/strike] tags so the reader could add the strike-through mentally rather than three lines of crossed-out text - I should start a campaign on run-on sentences while I think about it, some abuses of grammar just go too far.

I voted Gaians, Morganites, and Spartans, although I probably wouldn't want to play Gaians. Roleplaying either Morganites or Spartans promises to be quite interesting.

Using the VB brackets is an easy way to make the code not work, but still conveys that he wanted the text struck through.

Exactly... perhaps the top seven, just norrowing it down, I know I didn't vote for a couple I might have just because I didn't want to bump my Angels too far behind (like I would have voted for Gaians, for instance.)

I think we also need to see if some of these factions have actual support on paper instead of support in theory on a poll. I, for example, am looking forward to playing the morgainites, but it seems as if theres no one else in the same position (Except Mr WIA, who doesn't really count because he's expressed displeasure at all the factions, as well as an inclination to join all the factions!)

Perhaps next time, we poll for the top 4, and make it a single choice poll, to see for actual support?

And I agree we should do another single choice poll just to see how many people will be actually joining in each team. And perhaps the poll should really be based on more than 3 teams, just to avoid the case that all people who voted for the 3 leading teams would go to one of the three leaving the other two actually less filled than other potential entries.

I suggest we take the top 7 factions from this poll and make a run-off poll, with the 3 best placed factions being selected to play, and/or the 4th best also, but only in the case that the fourth placed faction gathers at least 15% support from the total votes (roughly equal to 6-7 of the votes if as many vote in the run-off as have already voted on this poll - about the minimum to make a team viable, I would say.)

All those in favour say "Aye!"
