I made a big fuss before then i backed down thinking oh maybe they're not that bad. well this one is above and beyond. I mean if you think that is approite for a family site then.....welll....i don't know. but i think if i walked in the room and saw that on my son's computer screen he woudn't be going to that site any more. gosh what if my mom walks in while i am working on GameLeague.

btw, markg, can you fix that last post so it doesn't screw up the whole thred.

something must be said this time. btw i did email ugo, and tried to email GS but it kept bouncing saying "check subject". It didn't seem to help much, but maybe if more people do.....

I too have had mail bounce from GameStats - in fact the note I sent about the pop-up was the last one to get through - even my 'thank you' was bounced.

• These naked /semi-naked ladies are inappropriate for this site (I like naked ladies, but not when I'm playing Civ)
• Can you (Dan/Markos) please post a functional complaint e-address for GS and perhaps UGO

There should at least be some consistency. If lewd posts or foul language isn't allowed I assume there's a reason; probably the large numbers of children here. It would make sense if they disallowed soft porn then. If this was a adults only site I wouldn't care as much.

Actually I don't care about the kiddies that much. Let their parents figure out what they're watching. I just find it annoying to see breasts & booty in my face when I'm trying to have rational discussions...Superskank.

as for consistency, I think we have always did what we had to do when there was a real issue
just because our "line" can be a bit more down from other people's "line"(who btw dont own a site and have to cover the expenses),it doesnt mean that there is no "line"

and bottom line, we dont have that many youngsters you know, nor have they not seen something similar outside apolyton....

From a personal perspective, these ads are objectionable because (1) if my boss walks in the door, and I can't minimize quickly enough, she may see something she doesn't want to see; and (2) if I am using a computer at a cybercafe or other quasi-public place, I look like perv perusing porn sites.

Of course, I think that the female form is quite beautiful, and have no problems looking at it in the privacy of my own home.
