By pacting with sworn enemies from CPU, you have broken the informal agreement which allowed you to resettle. No foreign aid was needed to achieve this goal, and by breaking your neutrality in the current Planet war raging across Chirons surface, PEACE has voided its treaty with CPU.

First, it is not my decision, but the decision of the majority of CPU. Second, we are aware of you message that was sent to Second Function. We concluded that this is an excuse since pact is not needed to transfer unit control.

We have been pacted with the Hive for quite some time, and we have never been used in a military faction. This would contine with the Drones, who obviously haven't needed us thus far in their campaign. The only effect PEACE has recently had, and might continue to have on the game, is serving as a monument to Cycon's mercy. We are sorry about PUT...but don't take it out on us.

I was glad we left you alive, but it turned out that you
actions compromised our security. With the situation on eastern front turning out as it is, we simply couldn`t allow possibility of your abse be used as airfield for Drone choppers. Obliteration of you is jsut part of our defense tactic, which dictates that we must not allow any chance for enemy to advance.

If it makes any difference, I would like to voucher that the Drones and the Hives has not been planning to use the PEACE as a military front to attack the CCs. The choppers that the Drones provided to the PEACE is simply an humanitarian aid as far as I understand. Not that this is any useful to you now I guess.

Well the things is one can not fly a garrison across the ocean. And energy credits are also given I understand. I guess this is another incident of bad communication since we didn't know that you are conducting deals with the PEACE and that you have decided not to eliminate them.

Simply place a unit of yours in the territory of a befriended faction, and transfer control of it. If it didn't work, this is due to a bug we had problem with as well, for we simply couldn't transfer control of a air unit from PUT to CyCon first time we tried.
Later on that problem solved itself with other units.

The question is then what does "befriended" mean? Does it mean pacted? Or do you only need to have a treaty?

Why dont the Pirates join up with Hive or Drones (or even Cycon) for the remainer of this game. It will sertanly be more interesting them the resetlment would have been and could get you in touch with players your going to be interacting with in the next game.

Given the state of the game I think we can wave all waiting periods for them joining Hive or Drones, the Pirates long isolation as a 1 Base Faction is more then sufficient and they were already Pacted to both thouse Factions. Joining Cycon though would require a waiting period because they briefly obtained information on the Drones.

I agree with Impaler, except that there shouldn't be any waiting period, as IIRC, earlier most people said there wouldn't be a waiting period to join the conquerors. We would have that information since we just took their faction.

As for the assimilation of PEACE, it's quite apt that the song that came on the radio was Ash and Burn Baby Burn
