	Context for the Auto-Censor, please! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

I've just got a perfectly kosher word censored by what I assume would be a robot in the system. The word was "****ensian" and it came out as "****ensian"!

Now I can't see a way around this problem - "****ens" has to start with the verboten root, "****". Teach the robot some <u>context</u> please, admin!

Edit: Sure enough, it's demonstrated here as well. OK remove the hyphens to get the four banned letters in sequence: D-i-c-k.

I agree completely! I was pretty shocked and bemused when I referred to D I C K ens in one of my first posts and got edited.
In a way, it's a good thing: we ARE smarter than computers (for awhile, anyways).

Well I noticed the perverse posters who like their words strong sidestep the issue by using punctuation eg D-ick.

Thanks for the solution MarkG. I guess like spelling checks it's a case of specifying a ban on the complete word of four or five letter only - not when it's used as prefix.

On the "ass" matter, too many words are assiduously associated and assigned, I assume. In any case it's a sort of donkey except to the backward looking Yanks. The Brits and Ozzies use "arse" (censored?)

Edit: cunthorpe is passed - MarkG's fix. Looks like Brits have a better chance of getting away with it.
