Although it might come in handy at times, I think we should avoid non-smiley symbols like the thumbs up/down in posts. We should be able to express emotions and the like by our use of smileys alone, because they do actually signal a wide range of moods and attitudes as it is.
That being said, I would like to see the following smileys added to the forums:
- A smiley that hits his fist down on a surface of some sort to signal "End of story!", "Take that!" or something similar. Perhaps others can help me express the meaning of this, if they see where I'm going.
- A smiley where a lightbulb suddenly appears above to signal "Hey! I just thought of something", "Listen, here's what we'll do!"
And come on people, what do we honestly need a puking smiley for? That would only be remotely funny the first time it was used.
