I realise that talking about terrain might give you the needed hint to determine my position, considering you're able to discover so much from dark map info.

Not too good from a Gaian point of view. Forests no use there, only extensive farm+solar does some good. Would be better for Jamski in FM thus.

Only usefull then if you can only produce units with a max. value of 10 minerals then, which is easily solved by starting a synthmetal infantry or a colony pod.

Even if with an SP his minerals exceeded 10, the extra should be halved for a production switch.

Well the cycon method of looking for the landmark names is cheating in any game outside the ACDG. So it has to be elevation map related as that's the only noncheating way of gaining information about the map that I'm aware of.

Actually I forgot about the ridge.... hrmm now I'm not so sure....

Then it's even harder to understand what that bout with 'nigma was all about. I simply figured that you discovered his base site that way, linked with some extra trick you have in your hat.

AFAIK Impaler's method only applies to base sites? Not to landmark names? Another wrong assumption on my part?

Well whoever starts it we should call it "Heart of Fire - turn 2110 volume 2". I want to rub it in that we got 500 posts when we haven't even gotten past 2110.

Yes, you waste a few minerals, but you save turns and energy. If you can't build the items you want untill you have researched a tech... hmmm? The starting 100ec of Jamski Industries is the cruical factor. I wanted to stockpile minerals as an SP the first turn, so when I got Biogenetics I could afford the cost to rush the Rec Tanks in both bases immediately. The +1 nut, +1 min and +1 ec in each base helps the faction slightly

By saving a few ecs because I prebuilt the Rec Tanks with the ME, I have enough cash left over to rush my CPs the moment the bases reach size 2... and to rush Rec Tanks in the second wave of bases as soon as they are built too.

Yes, some minerals are wasted, but that's the trade-off I chose to make.

No Enigma's thing was because he was boasting about a strategy while I was talking with him back when he was in the Hive. He attempted to use that strategy in this game and it backfired. I think I was right because he took steps to erase the evidence.

I think right click change landmark in the black was another trick Impaler or one of the other cycon picked up.

And Kody if there is an email from you I'm pretty sure it got buried along the hundred error notices that I've been getting everyday. I will get to it eventually. I'm confident of that.

I understand, but the same effect can be reached by producing a unit, and by doing so you give away your strategy to anyone checking the F5 screen who knows you a bit.
