Back to Germany
Chancellor why do you feel you have the right to sit outside my cities looking in to my lands watching ?
I have asked in the nicest diplomatic terms for Germany to pull back the offending vessels but as ever you just huff and puff and say Germany will do just what she damn well wants to and be damned with you.
To my mind it is not far short of an open declaration of war, is that what you desire ?
Or would you rather America send her fleets to park themselves within viewing range of your cities ?
Yes you are correct they have been there some time, though how you turn this to a situation whereas I should not mind their presence is unclear to me, in truth I have been unhappy about their presence since you parked them there!!
No other nation in this world has stationed ships close to our boundaries.
I am telling you this clearly so you will have a chance to comprehend your next decision, I am not happy with this situation and unless you withdraw your ships from right next to my waters I will be forced to take action!!!
I have parked a destroyer outside one of your colonies to show you how this thing looks from my perspective, this ships crew can now see clearly the small island and what unit is defending said city, this is what your ships can see of my territories and to my mind is spying!!
Also consider that until now I felt unable to challenge mighty Germanies actions, however we are well enough armed now to deal with any threat to our holdings!!
You can not bully the US we will stand strong against your aggression!!
I ask you to reconsider your haughty stance on this issue and to help maintain world peace, we will extend our previous compliance date to 1865 which we feel is fair and allows your people ample time to make the right decisions and issue orders to your fleets
To Spain and England who both seem so quiet these days remember America has no vessels parked near your waters as do the Germans, we wonder wether you would both lend your support to us your friends during this debate !!
As such we would like to call a world summit meeting to discuss the current security situation as it stands.
America has no expansionist interests and means to threaten no one, but we will fight for our own securtiy if we must.

Germany reiterates her earlier statement, that she harbors no ill will towards any nation. International waters are, as the name implies, international, and permit the sailing of any ships of any flag. If the Americans desire control over this territory, they may do so through the normal means. However, attempts to exert control over territory not in the hands of America are meaningless.
Germany does not object to the presence of American ships in international waters, even near German cities; in fact, she welcomes their presence, as long as it is peaceful, for she recognizes the dangers presented to one living in this world of Realpolitik.
Germany remembers the hostilities of years past, and is concerned that her civilians may be endangered by pirates or other hostile craft. She has never threatened any American ships, nor shall she without due provocation.
However, attempts by America to control the movements of German citizens and craft outside of the boundaries of American territory speak not to German imperialism, but to American imperialist tendencies. England and Spain, pay heed to the fact that Germany has never and will never attempt to exert control over territory not in her grasp; the only time she has made a request of another nation to withdraw from an area, it was requesting the dismantling and moving of a city that was taking German territory.
Germany believes in the freedom of movement in international waters, and has gone so far as to establish a Right of Passage with all nations -- including America, agreed upon by both parties, admitting citizens of both nations to cross national boundaries freely. Has America changed her mind? Has she forgotten her once noble pursuit of peace and freedom? We beg the American people see that the neutrality of international waters must be respected, and remember her dedication to world peace.
Turn sent.

First I must apologize. I did get it a while back with the other save that Snoopy sent me. Apparently I played the other game and then thought I was done with the message. Since I was off the boards for the last week watching my Grandmother I did not see the notes here.
Snoopy. can you resend the turn? Whenever I try to load the one I have it crashes C3C. Thanks.

At a state that I call dangerous. She has always been independent and belives that she is healed enough to do it all for herself. My cousin caught her the other night sitting up in bed convincing herself that she could make it the 3 steps to her walker by herself. She was almost out of bed before she was stopped.
So she is doing physically well, just a bit cantankerous.
