Once again my apologies for the delays, Im experiencing some major life changes at present.

America sees the ever expanding nation of Germany, and begins to worry that other nations might be harbouring feelings of envy towards her friends. We hope and pray that we are not thrown back into the chaos of war on our planet, we urge all nations to seek the path of peace when conducting diplomacy at all times.

We offer our friends in Britain and Spain our congratulations that they too have now been able to move forward and have begun to once again expand their world holdings and move their peoples forward.

We hope that the leaders of all other nations can seek the wisdom of peace and friendship.

Germany is unfortunately worried about the prospects of war once again, due to the unfortunate decision of the English to settle a city within the ultimate boundaries of a German city.

The Germans would like to solve this unfortunate dilemna by allowing the English the opportunity to remove this city (Liverpool). If the English agree to do so, the Germans will allow them either to do so by building a settler within Ten (10) turns, thus disbanding Liverpool, or by gifting the city to the Germans, in exchange for a settler that shall be gifted once the city has been disbanded.

If this is not agreed to, the Germans will have no choice but to sack the city, or see our honor dragged down by any nation who believes we are too weak to defend our own borders.

Again, we hope to solve this through diplomatic means, and not through force of arms. However, we emphasize that we will do what we must to defend what is rightfully ours.

You moved from within the 21-square borders of one city, to within the 21-square borders of another city. One square away from the city's 21 sq radius would have been acceptable, but you chose to settle within the ultimate radius of my city.

And as to the destroyers ... My navy is tasked with ensuring the safety of my citizens. Is it unreasonable for it to ensure that it is aware of the happenings on the borders of the German empire?

oh yes you may do that at some stage.

if all of your cities are audited and I fine that none of your cities are within the 21 tiles of any of your own cities, then I will apologise and have that city removed.

if not, then I have a further discussion option / compensation that I would like to offer / discuss.

I am willing to remove the people of Liverpool, please understand that.

I have been placed under a cloud with my Warring ways and am under review by the Americans.

So I look forward to seeing the next save, and looking over the distance between your cities...

The German people are unable to understand the argument you make regarding the spacing of our own cities. We fail to see how a voluntary sharing of space between our own cities should be comparable to another nation settling a city inside what will soon be claimed as our territory.

We appreciate your willingness to negotiate, however, and are happy to assist your own expansion in any way we may be of service.
