	E3 Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

People are now starting to talk about the next E3, but does there exist a complete list of all games being revealed this year?



What games are you looking forward to hear about at E3 this time? For me, it's The Settlers V... I don't believe the game will be that good, but I'm defently interested in seeing 'screenshots' of the game, since they're saying the game will be made with the GTA3 engine
...oh, and didn't those ex-Bullfrog guys say something about revealing the next Syndicate game (if it actually will be made) this year?

Maybe a first preview of Civ 4 there, though probably too early for that. I know that Ensemble aren't attending this year... hmm, maybe the elder scrolls 4: oblivion...

Where did you get those screenshots? As far as I know, there haven't been any screenshots released... or did it happen recently?

Looks awsome... a little too awsome I'd say... Looks like a wallpaper someone made in 3D Max or something...

It wasn't long ago I last checked the official Settlers forums, where the were no news at all, so I doubted we would find anything before E3

From the look at those screenies, it looks like it has the same crappy gameplay as AoE

For goodness sake the fact that it looks pretty doesn't imply it will lack good gameplay. Wait and see. Unless you have a specific reason why the old style graphics foster good gameplay, the same level of gameplay + better graphics = more immersive and better game.

The reason why I doubt the gameplay is anything special is:

1) Just look at the two previously Settlers games
2) I'm not much for a realistic medieval game, that's why I prefer the comic style graphics

But yes, in theori you're right, but we're talking about Blue Byte, who has only made very few good sequels

Well if your reasoning is the first I wholeheartedly agree. But your consistent crusade against all graphically superior games regardless of whether the graphics have outweighed gameplay considerations in the development process is not something I can agree with. Let's just see whether it is as horrible as 3 (I didn't play 4) before jumping to conclusions based on the (quite nice) graphics.

Namco is going to officially announce Tekken 5 and Soul Calibur 3.
Tekken zaibatsu i think said there will be quite a bit of stuff for tekken 3. As for soul calibur 3, it will remain just official announcement. Lucky if we get few concept arts at best.

Capcom is hiring bunch of pro gamers to have a talk about balance issues in fighters... :hmm: doesnt that sound fishy? they havent made fighters in a awhile, there last couple of fighters sucked in balance aspect (except 3s and cvs2)... I smell another fighter game from capcom.

As you all know, from ID, Doom III stuff will be there, as well as quake 4.
