These are all great ideas, guys. Thanks a bundle. Any idea as to a name for Ahmed Chulabi and Paul Bremer's government type in Iraq that will actually fit in the slot (I think using Monarchy as the base would work best).

Occupation or Coalition Provisional Authority (Maybe Despotism).

Then, on the July 2004 turn, they might get an "Interim Government" (Monarchy)

After that, they could recieve "Islamic Fundamentalist/Arab Nationalist" (Fundamentalism), "Islamic Republic" [A more liberal version of what Iran has] (Republic), or "True Democracy" (Democracy), in some way.

I think I'll adopt some of those names for gov't, POTUS, but I also need gov't slots for the other players (Neutrals, Syrians, Iranians, Iraqi Baathists, and Iraqi Insurgents). I'm planning to begin my official work shortly. If anyone's got any last minute suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

The names suggested by POTUS sound excellent. If you want to add a cynical note you can edit the description of the form of government to include a sentence such as

"A temporary form of government with the Pork Barrel Coalition in power."

or something similar.

Iranians could have an Islamic Republic or Islamic Fundamentalism.
Syrians, Arab Nationalism.
Iraqi Insurgents, Resistance/Terrorism (Communism)
Iraqi Baathists, Arab Nationalism
Neutrals, probably Democracy.

I agree with POTUS' ideas for government names and allocations, though I like a cynical flare in the Pedia too. Again, my humble thanks. There's a few things I must do before I begin, but after that, expect the beta on the forum in a few weeks.
