i'm around both days the whole time, and up to several turns. probably i won't manage to do to long at rapid turn fire speed, but i should be able to get any turn around in less that 20minuten.

group A has nearly caught up with us! they're just a turn behind and on the roll!

we really should try and find some times when we can play longer sessions... could we for example agree on a "date" one evening (or day of a weekend) and get this thing going?

later on, when you've got 8 cities and 30 units, turns will take longer and we won't be able to do this fast stuff.

i think we just need to pull ourselves together twice a week

I agree we need at least one session per week, (Wednesdays), but how about we also try for a few hours on perhaps Monday evenings? This would certainly speed the game up.

Good thing its a bank holiday today - just crawled out of bed.

i think we must have at least one intense session per week otherwise we won't get anywhere. currently we're just about keeping up the 1turn-per-day-pace... a lot more should be possible for anyone who applied for the tournament.

for me that's ok.. i really would prefer more fast rounds. later on it will go slower anyway, so the pace should be kept up high.

additionally, i think it would be nice if the one who's got the save "over night" tries to play it in the morning before work. if not, the game is stuck for 16 hours or more, which is... suboptimal...
(it means waking up 10mins earlier )

I agree. There is no reason why turns can't be played before work. This is a tournament and we should be committed to it.

As far as Wednesday nights go, I sometimes won't be back from work by 6pm, but are usually back by 7, and are happy to play up until the first person calls bed time. I think we've all confirmed that we are able to keep Wednesday nights free for rapid fire turns except for Mickeyj. Mickeyj please confirm your understanding of this arrangement.

I'm also keen for a few Monday evening sessions, as I said previously, but understand if two nights a week may be a bit much for some. How about we query Monday nights on the Sunday before, and if we are all up for it then great.

I'm available to do some rapid fire turns tonight. Moonbars? Mickeyj?

As for Wednesdays i can't do this week and will try to keep them free, but i won't guarantee it. I only get back from work at 7'ish.

Mondays will never work for me for the foreseeable future. I often work late, and would not be able to garantee being able to play on weds until 8pm. However, for many weeks I am free from 4pm..
