Greetings fellow Auldonina citizens, this is Earnest Garbal reporting from the main tally room. Ealry counting appears to have a massive swing agaisnt the sitting government, at least 10 seats in the central region have already been won by the Havana Party, the sitting Nationalist party are claiming election rigging and a recount is probably due with all voting slips to be examined.

The current standings so far are as follows.

Total Seats in government 267

Nationalist Party winning 102

Havana PArty winning 89

Capitalist Party winning 34

Independants winning 5

37 seats too close to call.

The Nationalists need to win another 32 seats to hold government , otherwise some form of coalition wil lbe needed.

! Nationlists beleive in Fascism and all that entails

The Capitalists want to have open trade with all nations

The Havana party want to open Auldonina for tourism and have less to do with international politics.

The independants are standing on minor issues relevant toi their local zones

Wow, looks like quite a dilemma for forming a coalition.

Maybe the Nationalists need to set the Capitalist party up in a special economic zone, set up for international trade. With clear guidelines, and thus appeasing them and their vote.

Secret meetings are currently being held but apart from the above , al lthe other parties hate the Nationalists so most liley outcome is coalition of all the others.. but the military backs the nationalists !!!

The Council Republic of Jonchastan salutes the historic decision of the Auldoninan people, and wishes to extend its warmest greetings to the new governing coalition.

We take this as strong signal that the former government's actions in Frankychanland and Former Azan were not supported by its people.

In a surprise announcment the military have revealed that the Nationalists were apparently incorrectly recorded as winners in some seats. Field Marshall Outback has gone into hiding in disgrace as his sub ordinate General John Howard takes control of the military and hands out the final democratic results.

The people of Basus would like to congratulate the Auldonina citizens with their democratic elections. We would like to set up commercial talks in the future with Auldonina and hope that the ties of friendship will be stronger in the future.
