Military Orders

the above link maps out plans for the next 3 or so moves. please carry it over until then, or until modified by myself, or until something craxy happens


Worker Orders
Please road due north. This road should be complete when the next worker arrives to this location, and the two together will go into joint operation mode for a while. -GK


City Orders
Please set the build queue in apolyton to the following:
Worker (current build);
Warrior (MP and settler escort);
Settler (for city #3).
This should take us for the next few turns. We may add in another warrior or even a hoplite depending on the situation that developes with randy barbs, PAL, etc. -GK

Soon we will have several cities & workers. I am wondering if there is a specific format for orders people would like to see? I am thinking of using something similar to the ISDG:

Hum, I think the should we pop the goody hut now or later is going to be mute. (I'd be surprized if PAL didn't pop it)

I believe we should build a worker first, then warrior. After extensive chats on this issue with Kloreep and E_T, we determined the following:

Warrior first results in 4 extra commerce.
Worker first results in getting worker actions completed 2 turns earlier for the duration of the life of the worker.

There is no shield cost .. in fact, building a warrior first results in the waste of 2 shields. There are no growth effects either.

CDG wants to get Pottery asap. I say we give it to them. It is out of step with the trade plan, but I see it as a gesture of good will to them. (Being the ambassador to a possible target team, I need all the good will gestures I can get ) Besides, what will it hurt to give it to them?

OK I can not be in chat right now BUT I have PAL on AIM.

They are willing to let us pop the hut BUT if we get a tech they want us to share it

Yes it is and I took a look see.

For any "doubting Thomas's" out there, PAL did indeed forward us the two techs accepted, and they moved away from the hut. They moved 3 of there position north of the mountain or SE towards CDG.

I did not move any units because I dont like messing with the RNG gods.

I think we will play tonight in chat but we wont forward the save until the 24 hours is up, that will buy us sometime until Togas gets back and we can build a consensus on where we are going diplomatically in this one. With any luck the French wont catch it before bed and we will be back into the "They play in the morning we play in evening routine" we had before. (With another 24 hour delay )

I will be in chat by 2200 CDT and we will play.

But we hold the save till tomorrow, right before the 24 hour cut off. We are "sand bagging" till Togas gets back.

Hey guys, sorry to have to do this, but I'm going to have to step down as deputy MOI...not that I've done much more than a couple of sims anyway.

My time has been limited lately and I haven't even had a chance to keep up with the recent turns much less do any planning.

So, hopefully you can replace me, assuming my post even needs replacing since GK does a good job.

Turn played at 2200CDT with OCT_X, and Kloreep in attendance and E_T, MZ. MWIA and Rhoth at idle.


Military Orders
-Ares Boys and settler move 6
-Road Kill moves 6 headed to explore the NW
-Grog moved 8 bypassing the forted barb heading NE to explore
-Diomedes stays forted in Apolyton
-Anthea moves 8 and does NOT pop the hut. We are waiting for the settler possibilty. con will explain to PAL.

WF remains the same. working cattle, roaded bonus grass, and sugar. 9 food w/ 3 FPT surplus with growth in 3, 5 spt, and 9 commerce. (3 tax, and 6 science)

We are at 70% tax. IW in 14 turns at -1 GPT. Zero Luxes.

Diplomacy To Be Completed

Con needs to get ahold of PAL and tell them why we haven't popped the hut.

Pottery to CDG as aprt of tech deal sent early per there request.

WC and Alphabet sent to PAl accepted. We recieved Masonry and The wheel from PAL accepted.

We are average to PAL and strong to CDG.

There are Alemani Tribes near Apolyton.

Actually I believe the ministerial positions are appointed so I will let God King do the honors. (the consuls appoint him and he appoints you )
