(There shouldn't be any pop-ups anyway, bloody spam-merchants)

I've got that too, but I presumed from another site (lyrics site). I only get it when that's up. It may be a legit ad 'Poly is using, but I don't get 'Poly ads now.

It is annoying, so if it's being legitimately allowed.

I use loads of different public computers - possibly 20 over the last week. Don't know what a Gator program is.

I just got it now and in my attempts to close it, it also closed my Apolyton window.

Not something to keep first-time "customers" coming back, for sure.

I've had the same pop up. I initially presumed it was from another site, yet I've had the same pop up when only browsing poly. Ad-aware tells me my pc is clean of spyware/pop up causers of any description.

It definately derives from Apolyton. I get it on a machine from which I access no other internet site.

I have been leaving it in the background to die when I shut the machine down but if anyone knows another method to close it without clicking on the damn thing I would be glad to learn what it is.

	Increase Your PM Length

Click on the x's in the corner of the pop up windows (both the one asking you to install stuff, and the one telling you that you must click yes ), then quickly click on the x on the pop up. Or close it real fast.

Either way, it needs some speed, and the faster your computer the faster you need to move your mouse.

I have a removed one popup provider which may be responsible for the ad (our other provider also gives us a full list of the showed ads and it doesnt seem to include this one)

let me know if you get it again. if you do, please post a screenshot that also shows the top 468x60 ad

also, in general, referring urls' from IE history also help

True but only if you catch it before the installation box comes up. The other boxes boxes are modal, meaning you can press alt + f4 as many times as you like, and it'll do diddly squat.

Switch to IE in future but I often just forget and browse everything with Mozilla which blocks by default
