Should we accept Gamecube64? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Here, Gamecube64 states he wants to be part of the team. I started this poll because I don't know what procedure we use to accept new members.

I think we should accept his membership. I trust our opponents not to make DLs to spy on us, and a new member may give some fresh ideas, and nice discussions in this forum

To be honest, I'm not excited about the idea of someone new joining this team. It may sound unfriendly, but PtWDG is too far into the game (well past 50%) - a new member would lack the "touch" we have all developed. Feelings towards other teams, knowledge about our goals and about how to achieve them... a complete newcomer can hardly be useful unless we all spend loads of time explaining him details of our history - and I am personally too tired to spend time on that.

That said, my vote is no.

I think he's trying to be humorous, Vondrack.

I say why not? I'll be the first to admit I'm not active, but I can post on our history for Gamecube.

BTW, I checked his posts, and it looks like he just started playing poly. His first game on chieftan he won. In short, he's just learning Civ3 - a great time to join a demogame to learn micromanagement.

I also vote yes. I've read gamecubes posts and he is just trying to learn. He seems to be a good chap, and will not be a disruptive force.

I guess Gamecube64 is to be accepted - 4 members approve it, only 2 disapprove it, 1 abstain vote (not sure we have more active members than that ). I am going to authorize him into the forum.
