	Cheaters, UNITE!!!1!! Enter the AD-FREE zone

okay u all know me as this hardcore gamer that talks only about Multiplay games and concepts.

But tHiS iS aBouT ChEaTiNg! The lighter side of video gaming, where you pwnz ur helpless AI with omnipotent power you give urself and make urself feel better after being frustrated at the same level/stage over and over again! or whatever!

- First of all, if you EVER cheated in MP games, you can confess here and be forgiven.

- Second of all, whats ur favorite/memorable cheats?

Some cheats I remember fondly:

SOnic 1!!!11!! OMG WTF LOL, Up down left right repeat!!!!

When I played Sims, I like never played it legit. Gave myself 1 kazillion blinb bling and built myself a phat party house for me and my friends. We had a lil boy who did all our dishes and take out the garbage. Child labor!!!! But he had to goto military school eventually and all my friends died (hunger, drown, fire ) after i spent biliions and billions of dollars partying and jobless. WTF i "lost" even when i cheated!

GTA cheats: the one where civilians fight each other is hilarious. and weapons cheat. causing mayhem onthe streets. ROFL!

I never cheat in multiplay.

I cheat in single play because the AI cheats

But really I don't cheat in single play either besides reloading. But who's to say the AI isn't reloading as well?

well, i didnt exactly play much at all.

spend 5 min exploring features and i put it on >>... came back an hour later and damn fools spent all the cash.

However, seeing a simulation of all my buddies living together in a frat house like setting was quite njoyable.

*gasp, did i say i had fun playing the sims!? >_<

i've never cheated in MP per se. I may have used ceratin underhanded tactics that take advantage of the way that the game is programmed, but as for actaully putting in a cheat code, other than sports games, no I have never ever cheated when noone else was.

I reallyl ike the citizens with weapons, rioting, and the ladies follow you, b/c hten it is a survival mode thing.

The sims thing is cool and then it gets boring, and you try to do it legit, but it keeps funking up. The social aspect is the hardest for me to manage without cheating totally.

I used to cheat in all SP games possible, but NEVER in mp games, but it's been years since I last cheated


... that is unless you call it cheating to give all pedestrians in GTA3 weapons, and then make them go insane

I hardly ever cheat in SP, and never for MP. For SP it usually takes away any satisfaction at winning.

When we first started playing civII MP, nothing was considered a cheat so we did some things that were later considered so. Once defined as cheats, I have never used any of them. If you feel the need to cheat in MP, why are you bothering playing?

In SP, all I've ever done is reloaded.

I've used hacks in Counter-Strike before... my Half-Life CD key is banned by VAC, but once I got Steam, I quit doing all that. I don't feel like buying another copy of CS or Half-life just to hack. I did it because I got bored and I have no regrets. It was fun. And people get soooooo mad.

Just play on public servers and use your smarts, you get the same reaction 'cause everyone thinks you're cheating.

I am a regular at two or three servers I have in my favorites. I don't bother playing at nub-pub servers.

But yes, it is funny to get accused of hacking when you are just pwnin.

Does the weapons cheat give you any guns you couldn't already get through normal play?

It just gives you all the weapons in the game. IIRC, some levels don't have all the weapons. But I could be wrong about that.

People who use these hacks sicken me. Of course they always claim they were doing it to 'learn', or 'only did it once for a laugh'. In reality they just do it to try to cover their noobness or to spoil the game for others. All their computers should be made to explode every time they even think of cheating.

Levels? I assume we are all talking about GTA Vice City? In the beginning missions you don't have access to the whole map, so you can't get to certain gun shops that sell certain guns. I've finished the game, so I can get whatever I want now anyway.

That cheat that makes people fight in the street sounds like a laugh though.

Yeah, I did it cause it was fun, and it gave me an edge. But I knew that whenever I won because the cheat sprovided me with advantage, it was like a loss in my mind. It does get stupid once you think about it and your only doing harm to the communty... And what when you lose even with the cheats? Man, that make you feel much more scrubbier than had you played honestly and get creamed by the gosus....

I still would never cheat in serious tournament game or anything. Cheating for money or fame is downright dirty and wrong. Im much more lenient toward MP cheats in casual play, but ultimately, i dont see the point for the cheater and especially, for the victims.

Best cheat ever invented by me while playing J Wong in casual marvel= hit his taunt button, go AHVB and kill! THAT was funny.

(he still won the first to 50 win game by 50-1 )
