I have read and followed the thread first-hand, and your description is very accurate. Several Civ2 and OT posters believed that Trip was honored only because of his postcount, and made it clear they considered Trip to be nothing else than a common spammer.

Trip would have been on the list if he were back in his old form. But on the other hand, he used to post in many more forums besides Civ3 ones, so that may just be the difference between then and now for him.

SEVERELY mistaken, actually.

Trip, Master Zen, and myself are the Consuls of the Apolyton Team in the PTW Inter-Site competition. Trip and Master Zen both post A TON in that forum.

The fact that it's a private forum would mean that most people on the site don't get to see just how much work gets done in there.

Didn't Boris get a PCR during that same incident too?
IIRC at first Trip & Boris got a 10% PCR, then Boris sent a PM too Ming and that resulted ( probably not only that though ) into Boris getting a 0% PCR and Trip getting a 20% one.
