Team Game?

This is now basically a "Team" game. Team A versus Team B. How happy are you about that fact? I just wanted to know people's general feelings about it.

I don't like it. Diplomacy is basically meaningless. Now it's just a duel of economics and combat between the two remaining players. While those are the two areas of the game I do enjoy the most, the diplomacy aspect really rounds out the whole purpose for playing a game such as this. The PTWDG is better, IMHO.

It kind of stinks. My interest in this game has greatly waned. The PTWDG and PTWDGII are a hundred times more dynamic than this. I don't know where it went so wrong... I guess I'll blame Lucky and the Germans

Im beginning to think that Intra-Apoly Demo Games are the way to go.

my main gripe is that all the old diplomatic intrigue has disappeared because it's plainly obvious that it's now a GWT vs Apolyton issue.

It's been what, over 6 months since I posted an Evil Plan™ ....

I don't mind it. Sure, the diplomatic/intrigue element is lacking, but intrigue has never been something I've enjoyed or done well with (I'm a GS member, after all!).

Given that that element is still present in the ptwdg and ptwdgII, I don't mind that this game has become more straightforward.

I mean, what's the alternative? CFC backstabbing us? No thanks.

It's alway's more fun with more players, for you, but of course also for them, because they can go on too. Elimination of players doesn't have my preference. Yet now we have to go with it and fight for glory.
