freeciv server? Suffering from ads?

Does anyone know how to make a server for Freeciv?

Do you mean a setting up a server for a single game or a permanent server hosting civ games at regular intervals? You can remotely start the freeciv server at a host and let people login. If it's the latter I suggest you ask someone from the freeciv team or the polish freeciv site (they host longturn games).
