The Israeli's are prime example that in a reversal of fortune the socalled civilized people would act the same way. Both sides would view the actions of the other side as wrong, evil, and an abomination agaisnt god.

It when Israel targets a person for termination bystanders get killed. The only difference is that the palestinians target the bystanders. I do not believe that the Israeli's have never killed a mother or child. I do not believe that Israeli's have never destroyed innocent people's homes. The same goes for the U.S. in every war we have engaged in. The same goes for every country/political group that has taken up arms in the name of defense, manifest destiny, or any other imagined justification.

War by nature is ugly and dirty. There is little honor in killing. It cannot be sanitized.

Note: There is honor in protecting your people if forced.

Yes, this even applies to those who persecuted and slaughtered the Jews, or stood by while it happened and then when the holocaust was over continued to persecute the Jewish survivors returning to their homes. They were and are the ultimate cause of this problem yet they shamelessly deny their responsibility even now that they live in comfort and security. They denied those things to the Jews then and now.

define "disregards". If your claim is that it doesn't matter to IDF at all, you are wrong. If you claim that it civilian lives are compromised to target combatants, then you're correct. But that's the point in street fighting.
