	Science Poll: 1740 AD Get a bigger avatar today!

Our great scientists have managed to discover (by virtue of this new knowledge of "Astronomy") that our world, once thought to be the centre of the universe, is in fact but one part of the universe and that we are but a speck of dust whereas before it was beleived that we were the darkness for which the stars sought to enlighten .

While we fear what may happen if our scientists continue with this line of research, for fear that the people will revolt if we give them any more absurd notions (any rumours you may have heard that we are not alone on this planet are unfounded , we have seen no evidence in our places of learning that there exist anyone else other than the glorious people of Apolyton). In order to prove this to be true, we now seek to understand "Navigation" that we may better learn this planet on which we reside and prove rumours of other races to be false.

As such we have determined that we will be able to research some new concepts once we better understand this "Navigation" including: Banking, Medicine, Physics, University and Warrior Code. (any rumours you may have heard about Horseback Riding are false, the thought of actually riding on the back of a horse has caused a great deal of mirth in the Scientific community! Would you have us beleive you can next ride the winds? )

Of course my recommendation is that we seek the knowledge of "University" to better expand upon our ability to learn and research new ideas , but I await the opinion of the people, and then hope that our Consul knows when to listen to and when to ignore the opinion of those with intelligence less then my own his .

What is this, Chief Scientologist Sparrowhawk! You predict although Horseback Riding is derided now, that upon the attainment of Navigating via the heavenly lights we may attain miracles?

Fie, perhaps those strange sights off the north coast are then signs from another civilisation on this planet. Indeed, why not indulge further in fantasy and say they are more advanced than we, the Children of the Banana.

I will vote for Universities, for clearly more of our citizens need to learn which notions are clearly ridiculous.
