I'm a huge fan of the show - I own all 7 seasons that have been released, plus the two Best of Friends sets. Obviously I watched and enjoyed the finale, and yes, I DO still have my balls attached.

She was soooooo a token black person due to the fact that they live in NY and no one in the show was black at all.

Anyway, I stopped watching Friends a while back. The show jumped the shark when Monica and Chandler got married. Saw the end of the finale, and it was another cookie cutter, semi-happy, but semi-sad (because the show is ending) finale. No risks at all, but I guess that is par for the course.

I can only hope the last Fraiser is better.

i have the first six seaons on DVD, and i'll get the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth when they come out. . . because i never really watched it on TV too much, but i think it's a hilarious show, BUT i want to watch them all in order, so i didn't watch the final episode either because i didn't want to know how it end. so i didn't read this thread either, just in case there were spoilers

I never watched a single episode of Friends. Heck, the last sitcom I ever developed an attachment to was Cheers, and that was in *reruns* for goodness' sake.

For me, at any rate, sitcoms are something to mostly avoid.
