I noticed the fora going down about an hour and a half ago, when I tried to go to the OT, and there was nothing there.

Strange, I went there, registered, and made a post revealing all about the Area 25 incident and straight after I did that the site went down

Using my browsers 'history' list, I could get into individual threads, but got an error when I clicked on 'reply'. The forums were blank, though.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's just idle chatter. If it were just a bit, I wouldn't mind, but most of it is meaningless stuff...very boring.

i went back to it after asking reismark for info and it came up with a different time and different people on-line (i told reismark of course). he says people are working on it but no definitive time frame yet

On ACOL, meaningless is as meaningless does and is actually meaningful.
There is meaning but you just don't see it. There is a lot of subtlety there - just don't read everything literally.

Having just taken the time to peruse the off-topic here, I see that some of the posters in this thread have been participating in the "Word Association" thread. If that is not blatant postcount-enhancing spam then I don't know what is.
Perhaps you shouldn't be so condescending in future.

It seems to be working fine now. But it didn't for about 1/2 hr.
