You don't offer up ANY proof that he loads the game while playing to peak at the map... All you have done is offer up proof that he has two computers.

I have 5 computers in my house... I'll admit that.
Does that make me a cheater too, just because I have multiple computers

Please don't make accusations you can't back up with proof. It's not really needed with eyes. He digs his own holes...

I really wanted to stay out of this,but your comment is little too much to stay neutral.
He might be new,but he is also a good and HONEST player. Skill + Honesty = Fun.
I realized a long time ago what's the difference between Zone and Apolyton player (besides game settings).
Majority of Zone players cannot play relaxing,fair game of Civ. Their only goal is to win the game at all costs. Almost everyone using EVERY dirty trick against each other and they simply don't know how to play different.
I respect that. If so much people do it,they must like it.
What i don't respect is when they're starting to use all those dirty tricks on me. I also play to win and if that means i have to buy another PC or whatever i'll simply stay out of such a games.
I've never heard someone from Apolyton went to the Zone to tell them they all sucks or such.
What's the problem with you guys? We have our games and we're enjoying playing them.
Finding myself onto Rah's thanx list is more satisfied than any game i won or lose and i do mean it.

I am not calling you a cheater,but we played one game long time ago where you setup a timer to 15 seconds.
I wasn't able to move more than 4-5 units per turn. This is not a cheating because it affects both players,right? Hope you enjoyed your win.

Thanks SmartFart, that is how it was intended.

Newbies always welcome. Just post in Starting Up IP Games and eventually the timing will work that you will get into a game. That's how most of us got together orignally.

but I also like to play at the zone.
I just dont play 2x at the zone. Even at the zone, I play 1x and get good games.
2x is another game.
2x, small map, king is not, I repeat, IS NOT, Civ!
I like to watch my Civ grow. 1x is good. 1x is Civ. 1x is the *REAL* thing.
If you like to play "search and destroy", then play 2x, king, small map. You are playing with the Civ software, the Civ units, in a Civ map, but you are playing "Search and ...", not Civ.
Civ is a growth game, not a war game. But its so versatile that you can use the CIV engine/units/maps to play WAR, WAR, WAR games.

If you cheat, you are not playing Civ! You are just a cheater. Cheaters are not great Civ players. They are just cheaters. If you change the Civ *.txt files, and you dont tell, you are just a cheater. You are not a superb Civ player. Just a cheater, thats all. Even if you dont get caught, you know deep inside that you are not a great Civ player, you know that you are just a lousy cheater.

A game lost to a better player is not a shame, is a welcome experience. I always learn a lot when I loose to a better player. I improve faster when I play against those who play Civ well.

I'm not sure if that was to me or not, but you might have me confused with someone else. I don't play with timers. Ask around =)

Person i played against was so excited about getting ticket for Star Wars : The Phantom Menace and complained about John B. because he didn't showed up for rematch etc.
My messages about increasing timer were ignored.
It was played on emperor level,small map,x2x1.
I have a good memory,but you never know for sure.
