Turn 119 - 210 BC Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

It looks like the turn will be coming around soon.

I would like to spend about 300 gold to partially rush the marketplace in Suntanland as discussed in the Republic plan thread.

I would also like to do the same at Funky Town but some have voiced the desire to get a harbor built. How about if we do the partial rush on the marketplace then do a partial rush on a harbor. We have enough gold to do it. It will complete both the marketplace and the harbor in the same time or less than it will take to bulid the harbor normally. When it is finished the city will be ready to build a settler.

The other cities need to continue with their builds, notably the workers in HH and Sunshinia since both cities are stagnant and need to reduce pop so they can grow.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

210 BC turn played

MAST offered us 5 gpt and their WM for our WM and incense, accepted. Accepted.

New barb camp in the west across the bay.

The people admire our achievements so much they offer to expand the palace.
I took the store horseshoe.

Happy Hills builds worker. Named Mr. Goodwrench. Set HH to build a hoplite.
Gary fortified to heal.
Andy started to irrigate.
Greenjeans started to irrigate.
Doright waited.
Dashed moved SW, W to attack the barb camp on the hill. Lost 0 HPs. Colllected 25 gold.
Barry moved N.
Davey Crocket moved SW. Found that barb horsemen.
Mars fortified to heal.
Nova moved W, NW.
Jeeves and Standbridged started a mine.
Comet moved SW, SW towards that new barb camp.
Doright moved SE.
A barb warrior and a horsemen have appeared in the forest N of Zeus. Zeus moved E, E to the hill.

Changed Suntanland to a courthouse and rushed it for 300 gold. Changed back to a marketplace. Will complete the marketplace in 4 turns.
Rushed the harbor in Funky Town for 300 gold then changed to a marketplace. Will complete the marketplace in 4 turns.

Changed one of the citizens in Paradise to a scientist to provide the minimum research.
This stagnates the city but will benefit us later. It was scheduled to complete the granary
a turn after growing. If we stagnate for 2 turns it will complete the granary first and we
will save more food than what we will lose in those 2 turns.

Treasury at 565 gold +54 gpt. Theology in 33 turns.

MAST has done a palace jump

Demographics comparison with 490 BC:

Approval down from 80%/1st to 64%/4th. We have larger cities with more unhappy citizens.
Population steady at 6th.
GNP steady at 5th.
Mfg Goods down from 5th to 6th.
Land area up from 6th to 5th.
Literay steady at 4th.
Disease up from 8%/5th to 10%/4th.
Pollution steady at 1st.

Family size up from 6th to 4th.
Military Service changed from 8yrs/3rd to 7yrs/3rd.
Annual Income down from 4pc/2nd to 3pc/3rd. Due to specialist and larger cities. I would have expected Republic to increase this. I wonder if this is figured after production and unit costs.

Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

You should wake up Goody Hut Gary next turn and skip his turn.

Units fortified in jungle tiles have a small % chance of dying.
