It's kind of funny I stopped playing the game because I was kind of bored of the gameplay, and because everyone was slamming the game over on the alpha.owo forums . I found myself swayed by all the bad talk.

I guess that is why some gaming forums restrict negative comments about their games.

But I have returned to this game recently. It's still not a game I play frequently, as the gameplay is pretty much the same (although I have learned a few new tricks). But I did buy the planetary pack (with the laptop collection), so I play occasionally. I'm always on the prowl for things I have overlooked in this game.

Good point about Enigma_Nova, Jamski, but there is a very simple way to make his mouth shut - just respond with more argumented and more adult like insult..as I did some days ago..

But I will put him on ignore, because I dont need those finger-training exercises anymore!

And - have you noticed that his stupid sig regarding his "smactalk abilities" has disapperared somewhere?
Its a sign that he has started to research Secrets Of His Own Brain and as one of the 1st theorems came a conlusion that he's not always what he think he is..

But what can we expect from such youngster.... he became 18 only 17 days ago..

I only hope there wont be any more such newcomers and longstayers as that Enigmaticly farking guy..

A DL is a double login. Its used to refer to a poster logging in under a different name in order to

a) Sow discord.
b) Ask questions they would be embarresed to otherwise.
c) Just for the hell of it.

Its not allowed on 'poly.

Accusing someone of being a DL is pretty much the worst insult on any forum, and the mods like to stamp on the "DL Dance" behavior.

Its not the best way to welcome a new poster, but some arse-hats can't simply be civil.

I'm sorry, but everywhere you go, there'll always be some arse-hats.

Most people are just teasing though, using those DL dances. So don't take it as an insult. Jamski, you need to help our new comers to feel more relaxed, not otherwise.

Well, as I am a newcomer too (and like to show off) IŽll thank you all from the welcoming allthough it wasnŽt specifically directed at me. Thanks anyway. Just as an addition IŽd like to ad that this forum has the tied place at the category of best smilies I have seen so congrats. I hope I can get some new ideas for my strategies from this forum and hope that I can be of some use to someone in the distant future. (as unlikely as that is)

And when it does, its not necessarily to call others [i]idiot, closeminded & in other more "nice" words..

You should argument your idea to them better and with patience!

And even then, there are people who just wont or dont want to understand the particular idea - its not something you should fight against Enigma_Nova, its something you should learn to live with, otherwise you will only worsen your and other peoples' lives..

Some people just dont understand that they are not the smartest , the coolest , the the.. Whatever they think they are..

There was a period in my life too, when I found it hard to understand a group of other people (women.. :lol, but transmissions never became so hostile and intolerant..
They rather were funny..

the effect is frusttaion.

I'm not inherently less tolerant or frustrated for equal difficulty, but my ideas tend to be high-minded, so that spreading them is a difficult goal.
And, any hurt I do express - I'm not the type to conceal feelings.
