yeah, we've been waiting for those designs for ages now!

as for the cookout, Kwang, Frank Johnson, and you Nark all live in the greater Houston area and I'm not that far, in fact, I'll be in Houston this weekend, so technically we could have a cookout in our new apolyton t-shirts

Doc also lives in Houston (La Porte), and we were going to meet some day around here somewhere. Of course, since he hasn't been here the past 2 or 3 weeks or so, we haven't really gotten around to setting a date

Perhaps we should arrange a meeting for everyone from around this area

btw, how long is the drive to Houston for you? 4 hours or so?

Houston is about 3 hours or 1 1/2 if my brother flies me. In fact, I'll be in Houston this weekend for a dental conference and in Spring next weekend for my cousin's wedding.

Way back when (June-ish?) I tried to drum up support for a US, mid-west barbeque/picnic near Kansas City. Died due to NO interest (Aussies not with standing).

BTW, I'm TOTALLY bummed to hear of the untimely death of the t-shirt! How about this for a suggestion: post an official Apolyton t-shirt graphic to download and we can make a transfere using our ink jet printers! All the major printer manufacturers are always talking about making t-shirts, lets put 'em to use!

Yeah... I don't understand why the T-shirts aren't being done. For all I know, Markos was getting really excited about 3 or 4 months ago about creating designs for the shirt...

Hmmmm... I bet many ppl would want a T-shirt... maybe we should have a poll to see how many ppl would want to buy one

This seems pretty easy to do. Just get the design, and I can contact one of two people I know that are on my PHP developer mailing list that deal in bulk t-shirts. Of course, the design is no simple matter.

A simple Apolyton logo on the front would be OK. But what would be cool is the Apolyton logo on the back, with a clever slogan on the front.

Markos and I are simply too busy with university work to hammer out the details with a provider of T-Shirt printing and distributing.

Again, the plan has not been killed but has simply been put on the back burner for now.
