A diplo win is great, but not if we use vassals to prop up the vote. Great, so we convinced a civ to keep a city in our territory through the end of the game and protected the third vote from invasion as well.

Now if a team can pull it off in the PTWDG, that will be impressive, as its not a two horse race, all four powers have a shot at the prize. I would feel ripped off, if for instance, GS killed off all but one of teh other three + vox and then won by the vote + RP. Ok, maybe a little satisfaction...

If we had the vote of the other teams, I would say the UN would be a great way to win. But because we would only have our votes and our vassals, I would prefer if we won some other way, or if we kill off both GCA and GWT and then go for a U.N. win.

CFC, a team that doesn't know what its doing or even cares will vote for us. Never had a chance to win the game.

CGN, a team destroyed by another and we saved them, demanding repayment by them voting for us. If they had not lost they wouldn't have voted for us.

Spactacular diplomatic work! Definitely worthy of a win!

That was my feeling on things. I might quit the team if we go for a Diplomatic Victory.

Again, if we reach that point winning by diplo will be subject to a team vote, since everything that happens in this game is polled and discussed. If the majority want a diplo win, we go for it, like it or not.

You can then quit if such a victory is unworthy of you.

Sheesh, lets all work on one thing at a time, which is, this Strike against GWT. We have to still finish up the Middle Ages AND get through the Industrual Age, before we really need to worry about this at all.

Shoot, we might not even make it that far....

Neither you nor I am the ultimate arbitrer of what is worthy of Apolyton as a team. Like I said, the issue will be polled and decided upon by the majority in due course.
